Another Beautiful evening another lovely walk on one of Northumberlands beaches. We don't go to Warkworth beach that often for some reason, whenever we go to Warkworth we tend to stick by the river but it is such a lovely beach I am glad we have rediscovered it recently!

Laurie & Sean - Beamish - North East Photography

Laurie and Sean's Wedding at the Black Horse pub at Beamish was possibly one of my favourite weddings to date. They were so relaxed about the whole day and the wedding had a very easy going and enjoyable vibe to it. They were a really lovely family and I enjoyed being part of their day. Robert Brumby - Artist

I recently travelled to Spain to visit my Grandpas Finca near to the town of Rojales. Although this long weekend in Spain was a holiday we also went out there for another reason; my grandpa is an artist whose work I have always greatly admired and I decided I wanted to start showcasing his work for more people to see. I am currently in the process of making him a website but I also intend to make a book, or possibly a series of books to be printed to show a full selection of his work. I have asked my cousin Charlotte Brumby to work with me for this (she has a talent for writing which I lack) and we conducted a few interviews with him while we are there and we are starting to compile a selection of his work as well as write a bit about his life, his path as an artist and his process of work. In his house near Rojales he has a small gallery that has a collection of some of his previous work as well as some of his more recent sculptural pieces. We had a lovely time in spain, enjoying the sun and exploring the surrounding area but also finding out more about our grandpa and his work. I am really excited about this project and I am looking forward to seeing how it develops over the coming months!

Laura & Richard - Newton Hall - North East Wedding Photography

I photographed a wedding at Newton Hall earlier in the year for Laura and Richards Wedding. It was a very nice venue, we didn't get to go outside because of the weather but there were lots of nice areas inside the building for couple shots. This wedding will be over on my website very soon.

Londons Calling

I went to London a few weeks ago to visit a friend who is studying there at the minute. The weather was a bit grim so we didn't get out that much but we had a bit of a wander around Greenwhich and a look in the market.

It has been a while since I have posted on here, I have not been very good at keeping it up to date recently which is a shame. I will be trying to post a bit more on here in the next little while. I have a new website that I am launching and I have a few new weddings that I haven;t posted about that I will post previews of here and update very soon. In the meantime here is a photo of the Buddha Statue in my garden...
