Windy Walk - Dunstanburgh Castle - North East Photography

My friends Iona and Alice came home for the weekend a few weeks ago and we went for a walk along the beach towards Dunstanburgh Castle. It was quite windy but the sun was out (mostly) and we had a great time.

Jesmond Dene - North East Photography

In the next couple of weeks I am doing a wedding with the couples portraits at Jesmond Dene so I decided to go along to check it out a bit in preparation. I went with my friend Claire who is helping me out as second shooter for a few of my weddings this year and I will be second shooting for some of hers. Check out her website here

New USB Boxes...

My new fancy USB boxes arrived for sending people their photographs in style! The boxes have my logo engraved on the front and I have filled them with paper filling as well as a few dried flowers. I ordered the boxes from 'Wooden Banana', which is a great UK based packaging company. I was having trouble finding nice photography packaging that wasn't from America so these guys had exactly what I was looking for. In other news I am also in the middle of updated and upgrading my website which is really exciting. It is nearly done and as soon as it is I will debut it here.

New Years Eve - Thrunton Woods - North East Photography

I spent New Years Eve with three of my friends from work at Barter Books. On New Years Day we went for a beautiful walk around Thrunton Woods and then headed back to Emma's house at Callaly Castle. It was such a lovely day and start to the New Year! I have a wedding tomorrow in Edinburgh and I have rented a Canon 5D mark III for the week and today was my main day to practice and make sure it was all working perfectly. The images are lovely and you can really see the difference in the full sensor images. So excited to use it tomorrow at Sarah and Anthony's wedding!

Christmas 2015 - Northumberland - North East Photography

Merry Christmas everyone! I have had such a lovely Christmas time, with all my friends returning from university and family visits, it has been a really busy but great few weeks. On Christmas day we took the beautiful dog out for a walk on the beach (look how big he has grown!). We were lucky with the weather and managed to get out just before the storm hit and it rained for the rest of the day.
